Tools for the discerning audio craftsman
Sontronics was founded in 2005 by musician and engineer Trevor Coley with the intention of combining his passion for music, precision engineering and modern design.
Launched in 2005, their ethos has always been to design innovative products that deliver outstanding results at a realistic price. This belief has seen Sontronics mature into a brand respected worldwide.
Their range continues to grow and includes small- and large-diaphragm condenser mics, multi-pattern mics, multi-award-winning valve/tube condenser mics – ARIA and MERCURY, beautiful phantom-powered ribbon mics – SIGMA 2, DELTA 2 and APOLLO 2, the best-selling SOLO handheld dynamic and CORONA dynamic mic for vocals, instrument-specific microphones (for drums, guitars, guitar amps & vocals) including the new DRUMPACK and DRUMPACK PLUS and brand new NANO remote-miking system.
Designed and developed in Dorset, Southern England, most Sontronics microphones are made in the UK. Top UK engineers and musicians beta-test everything before it goes into production and extremely tight control over quality exists at all stages of manufacture, with many mics being hand-finished by Trevor himself. The sound and build quality are so high and mics are so reliable that Sontronics offer a LIFETIME WARRANTY on all microphones.
